We have a couple of shows coming up at Taix Lounge (Thurday 2/28 & Friday 3/14) and a Saturday Show at Bordello (3/29) at the end of March.

New songs await you along with our new player and great friend Geoff Dent on vibraphone and percussion. Now there are six of us. :-)

November, 2007

That's right Ladies And Gentleman, we're playing Sat Nov 24 at Taix Lounge. Motivate yourselves and come socialize with like-minded humanoids. We'll be there early- soaking in the atmosphere- with soup and wine.

October

Vermouth is playing at Taix Lounge in Echo Park on Friday, Oct 19. We love Taix and haven't played there in a little while so we are looking forward to it! We have a fun set planned for a Friday night that includes some new arrangements. The Agents open at 10PM.

September

On Sunday, Spetember 30, Vermouth is sharing a night at Bordello with two great friends: Marc Cogman and B is for Baroness.

Wanna know the extent of our musical friendships? We'll tell you. Steve and Guilio both play in Marc's band, Justine and Molly of B is for Baroness both sing in Eastern European Folk Women's Folk Chorus Nevenka, Dawn, Justine and Elena of B is for Baroness sang and toured with Petra Haden and The Sellouts, Giulio plays in Elena's band, and Justine and Steve and Molly played in UCSC's Latin American Ensemble Taki Ñan a few years back as well as in a couple of assorted gamelan groups. Come out to Bordello on Sunday and feel the love!

Vermouth is opening for surf guitar king, Dick Dale on Sunday, September 16 at The Mint! Tickets are $25 at the door or $20 in advance at Groove Tickets. Vermouth plays at 8:30 sharp. If you want to have a good seat, make a reservation for dinner and come early!

July/August

Vermouth has two upcoming shows at Bordello in downtown LA- both with great friends. On Tuesday, July 31, B is for Baroness opens, followed by Vermouth and our new friend Erich von Kneip. The Sundowners close the show. On Augut 23rd, Vermouth opens for another friend, Marc Cogman, who incidentally happens to have two Vermouth players, Giulio Carmassi and Steve McDonald in his band.

May/June

Our new favortie venue is Bordello in downtown LA. We love it! Vermouth will be playing there Tuesday, May 8 and Tuesday, June 26. We have a Saturday night show coming up at Mr T's Bowl in Highland Park on June 23. We are excited to be sharing the stage(s) with some fantastic bands in the next few weeks.

We have a big show coming up on Thursday April 12 at Tangier. Nevenka, L.A.'s celebrated Eastern European Women's Folk Ensemble, opens at 7:45 PM followed by Vermouth at 8:45. It is a special night for us because Justine is also a member of Nevenka! Come check out one of the musical influences of Vermouth!

Jan/Feb 2007

Vermouth has two shows coming up at Taix Lounge. We are looking forward to playing for you and hearing your animal sounds.

November 2006

After a short hiatus, Vermouth is gigging again! We are excited to be playing with our friend and multi-instrumentalist Dawn Fintor (Sounds of Asteroth, Lava Diva, Resonant Heads), who is joining us on drums, vocals, bass and trumpet. Thanks to Dawn's versatility, we can switch instruments more than ever before. (and Giulio gets to play the drums too...)

August 2006

Vermouth will be playing at Taix Lounge on Saturday, August 5th. (pronounced "Tex.") Vermouth plays at 10:30PM. Juliette and the Torch Ensemble follow.

June 2006

Vermouth has two Friday night shows coming up in June! Our next show is on Friday June 16th at Tangier- opening for The Good Listeners. (We opened for them once before in March and recommend them highly.)

On Friday, June 23rd, Vermouth will be performing at Lot 1224, the Restaurant/Lounge of Loews Beverly Hills Hotel which is conveniently located on Beverwill and Pico. More details on our shows page!
